Wigwam Gift Shop & Motel

Fantastic place Fantastic people. Dog friendly. Was able to park our motorcycles directly in front of the motel room. Great service. Clean rooms. Conveniently located. The gift shop is nice and has delicious fudge. The Cafe & Pizzeria has terrific food. Recommend the pizza, very cheesy with handmade dough. Thank you to Lori and all the staff at Wigwam Motel for accommodating our group at the last minute. You helped make this a wonderful and memorable week.

Beds were comfortable and place was generally well kept. Just couldn't get the Keurig to work but that might be us. Bathrooms need a bit of a facelift

Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Delicious. Not shy with cheese or toppings Ready when they said it would be polite staff. I’ll be ordering again Price on par in fact less than a lot of popular names pizza joints

Our surprisingly affordable and cozy, clean double bed room has a fridge that actually fits quite a bit of food rather than a few drinks like hotels over twice the price, and outdoor chairs that are comfortable rather than hard plastic. The owner is so friendly and kind hearted that she opened up our room after the office closed because we were abandoned and then recognized my twin sister from our brief trip to the Wigwam shop an entire year ago, even inquiring about my well-being due to my palliative illness. Rather than receiving a code or key, we are welcomed by a real person who happens to be the kind of business owner who you want to give your business to. Every detail- smart TV for streaming sticks, the Kerrigan coffee machine and even a fly swagger in case bugs get in while you unload your baggage all add a personal touch that makes you want to return when you next need a room, & the price is unbeatable for the location-closest to the ferry terminal, restaurant, takeout places and shops (Wigwam & Trading Post). I highly recommend!

The staff is absolutely amazing, the food is delicious, the rooms are super cute and clean and the proximity to the ferry is unmatched. Great place to stay whether or not you're taking the ferry.

I've only experienced the gift shop part of this establishment. Came on here to say my 5 stars are for the fudge sold at the front counter. It is divine! I bought it from your store some weeks ago, and ate it sparingly every day just to make it last. I almost cried when I came to the last mouth.

My wife and I were traveling back home from BC and this was our last stop for the home stretch. Even though we were coming in an hour and a half past closing she offered to meet us to help us get settled. Dog friendly and beyond expectations for service. I love the cottage feel of the rooms too she even made a fresh pot of coffee and offered me a cup!! (I love coffee) On top of all this it's right across the street from the ferry so you can get in line and still be comfortable waiting!! I can't thank her enough for going out of her way for us!!

We stayed 2 nights and found this motel to be quite charming. Small adorable room with a comfortable couch, large beverage fridge and microwave. Bed was quite comfortable and loved that it had a ceiling fan. Beautiful walk down by the water to watch the Chi Cheemaun leave for the evening. Great little place to explore and how friendly everyone was. Not too far of driving to get to other areas of Manitoulin like the Cup and Saucer trail (40 mins) or Bridal Falls, etc . Lots of amazing trails everywhere in between that you just dont expect like the Fossil Hills nature preserve. Thank you for the great stay and will look forward to coming back some day.
